Microsoft dangles $250k prize for hackers doing security research

Vendors/Products Microsoft has found a new way to deal with the increasingly complex issue of computer security: get hackers working for them. The Redmond tech giant is offering $250,000 in cash prizes to the winners of the BlueHat Prize competition. The new competition is designed to get security researchers and hackers working on innovative technology that can protect computers from attacks.
