Wireless Security Spending on network security protection will nearly double over the next five years, according to the latest figures from ABI Research. The analyst firm's World Enterprise Network and Data Security Markets report said that spending on unified threat management, virtual private networks, network access control, firewalls and intrusion detection systems will rise from $6bn (3.8bn) last year to $10bn (6.4bn) by 2016.
