Brian Martin has written an excellent article on why Linux Security (the concept, not our site) is going to succeed. In it, he discusses the security implications of the open source movement versus closed source development. He also addresses some of the security tools available for Linux, the advantages of the open source movement on security tools and talks about some of the secure Linux distributions that are starting to become available.I'll let his article speak for itself.
