Meet the Homeless 'Journeyman Hacker' Live via Hangout Print E-mail

Security When a programmer from New York City offered coding lessons to a homeless man he described as a "genius," the Internet reacted with a mixture of support and criticism. Now, for the first time, we have a chance to talk to both teacher and student in an exclusive Google+ Hangout On Air, starting Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET. The world first learned about the duo last month when Patrick McConlogue wrote a post titled "Finding the Unjustly Homeless, and Teaching Them to Code" on the blogging platform Medium. McConlogue wrote of his connection with "The Journeyman Hacker," the homeless man he passed each day on his way to work.
