Notorious hacker group Anonymous has threatened to hack into the computer system of the New York Stock Exchange.
According to an FBI investigation, members of the hacker group have "declared war on the New York Stock Exchange" on Monday by threatening to "erase" it from the Internet.
"The FBI is aware of these schemes and threats and is looking into the matter," Fox news quoted a FBI spokesman Tim Flannelly, as saying.
The hackers have reportedly said that they plan to launch a DDoS (or distributed denial of service) attack on the NYSE's computer systems.
