News, today, of the release of the latest security update for Wordpress, now revved to 2.8.6. Specific re-mediated issues are related to yet another cross site script flaw, as well as file sanitization challenges. More information direct from the developers makes an appearance after the jump. 2.8.6 fixes two security problems that can be exploited by registered, logged in users who have posting privileges. If you have untrusted authors on your blog, upgrading to 2.8.6 is recommended.
