OpenSSH has recognized vulnerabilities related to denial of service; it is advised to upgrade for improved protection.
Two denial of service vulnerabilities have been found in the OpenSSH server

Summary


CVE-2006-5051
A signal handler race condition could potentially allow a remote
attacker to crash sshd and could theoretically lead to the
ability to execute arbitrary code.

For the stable distribution (sarge), these problems have been fixed in
version 1:3.8.1p1-8.sarge.6

For the unstable and testing distributions, these problems have been
fixed in version 1:4.3p2-4

We recommend that you upgrade your openssh package.

Upgrade instructions
- --------------------wget url
will fetch the file for you
dpkg -i file.deb
will install the referenced file.

If you are using the apt-get package manager, use the line for
sources.list as given below:

apt-get update
will update the internal database
apt-get upgrade
will install corrected packages

You may use an automated update by adding the resources from the
footer to the proper configuration.
