Mandrake A flaw was discovered in licq versions prior to 1.3.6 that allowed a remote attacker to cause a denial of service (crash) via a large number of connections (CVE-2008-1996). The updated packages have been patched to correct this issue.

 Problem Description:

 A flaw was discovered in licq versions prior to 1.3.6 that allowed
 a remote attacker to cause a denial of service (crash) via a large
 number of connections (CVE-2008-1996).
 
 The updated packages have been patched to correct this issue.
