Hacks/Cracks Careful with your graphics cards - if you run Gentoo Linux and use Nvidia drivers, you could be leaving yourself open due to bad file permissions on default driver settings. Be sure to get the latest updates to the driver - unless you enjoy having your clock frequencies tuned way up by malicious hackers.

nvidia is one of the few companies that makes the effort to even develope the drivers for linux (most just don't)... since that's the case, they probably think that's enough - as long as they do, this will keep happening.
