My daughter wants the 3 seasons of 8 simple rules on DVD - I can only find it on the tvdvdplanet website - are they legit??

This site is huge, & 100% illegal. The DVD's may be of ok - good quality, but rest asssured, you are buying from organized crime!

What are you talking about? I am researching this site/ompany, because it's the only site that has the complete series of "The Nanny," which my girlfriend really wants for Christmas.

Has anyone bought from them, and recieved their order? And, on what do you base your statement that they are organized crime?

They are a ripoff. I have ordered from them about a month ago and they will not respond to emails or live chat. I will be reporting them to the BBB.

Avoid these scam artists. I fell for their product (7 seasons of the New Outer Limits) and received 36 discs of which most were recorded directly from TV (sci-fi channel logo in corner) and the quality is crap. No matter how tempted you are to order, don't..you'll be real sorry if you do!

I ordered the first wave series. The first disk was low quality but complete. The second disk was blank. I called and they said they will send me a copy of the blank disk. It has been about 2 months now and no disk. I have not watched the rest of the series because I was waiting for the replacement. I can't get through on the phone either.

It looked fishey.. since they were offering a 4 season box set region free. (ie. doesn't exist from the original publisher). I used my banks virtual credit card ( shopsafe )... ended up canceling the card since the whole web page feels like trouble.

Back to ebay....

Thank you so much for this info. I was thinking about ordering the full series of the Tick. But I couldn't figure out why the have something that no one else does. A google search brought me here and I couldn't be happier that I didn't order it. Bottom line- if Amazon doesn't have it no one does, not legally anyway. Thanks
