The information security headlines are strewn with literally scores of articles about breaches in corporate or government security. Data being destroyed, systems taken down for days and stolen information are amongst the highlights of news snippets you can easily find. It is silly to play office armchair hypocrite and try to act as if your network is a fortress of impenetrable devices but you would only be fooling yourself. Our discussion delves into a very important area of our concern where information security might merely be an illusion or a passing thought, the arena of the small office home office (SOHO). SOHO is a huge market filled with bright, hard working families and entrepreneurs, that often have little clue as to the big information security picture but regularly collect extremely important and sensitive data.
