MessageLabs, a U.K.-based managed message security service, said Tuesday that the number of inappropriate or offensive images sent as attachments in the past six months was dramatically lower than the same period last year.The images, which can range from pornography and cartoons to greeting cards and other non-work related material, wastes valuable bandwidth and more importantly, can offend employees and send them running for a lawyer.
