OpenSales Announces Open Source E-Commerce Security Alliance with Guardian Digital

SAN JOSE, CA, LinuxWorld, August 16, 2000--OpenSales, Inc., the leading provider of open source e-commerce applications, today announced that its freely available OpenSales AllCommerce(tm) application suite has been bundled with the Linux LockBox(tm), a secure, turnkey e-business server manufactured by Guardian Digital, Inc.(tm), the expert in open source security solutions. According to both parties, the bundling agreement will combine the transaction support for multiple and decentralized databases offered by OpenSales software with the Linux-based security solutions of Guardian Digital.
