Intel on Monday announced the release of the open-source specification and reference implementation of its CDSA (Common Data Security Architecture) version 2, release 3.0 through the company Web site. The security specification will simplify the assignment of security technology to networks and e-businesses that may not possess the security expertise to deploy defenses without assistance, according to Terry Smith, CDSA Marketing manager for Intel.
