The second many tutorials that will be given by Linux.com Security, Kurt Seifried of SecurityPortal.com will be giving a tutorial on basic Linux security techniques, with pointers to some more advanced topics on Tuesday, March 30 at 7pm Pacific, 10pm Eastern. The tutorial will take place on the irc.linux.com (also irc.openprojects.net) IRC server in the room #auditorium. In this tutorial, e-mail security will be discussed. Setting up a Secure E-mail System Using sendmail to send and receive email will be discussed. Postfix and Wu-imapd (which includes a pop server) for imap/pop mail retrieval will be mentioned as well. Many other topics regarding e-mail security will be discussed. This will be followed by a question and answer session, so if you have any Linux security questions make sure you attend.
