A new patch has been released for Red Hat initscripts, addressing a critical security vulnerability along with several operational glitches.
One security bug and several functionality bugs have been fixed in a new release of initscripts

Solution



For each RPM for your particular architecture, run:


rpm -Uvh filename


where filename is the name of the RPM.
