Slackware: samba DoS  13 September 2004 
New samba packages are available for Slackware 10.0 and -current.These fix two denial of service vulnerabilities reported byiDEFENSE.
 
Slackware: kde security issues  03 September 2004 
New kdelibs and kdebase packages are available for Slackware 9.1, 10.0,and -current to fix security issues.
 
Slackware: gaim updated again  27 August 2004 
A couple of bugs were found in the gaim 0.82 release, and gaim-0.82.1was released to fix them
 
Slackware: gaim vulnerabilities  26 August 2004 
New gaim packages are available for Slackware 9.1, 10.0 and -current tofix several security issues. Sites that use GAIM should upgrade to thenew version.
 
Slackware: qt vulnerabilities  23 August 2004 
Bugs in the routines that handle PNG, BMP, GIF, andJPEG images may allow an attacker to cause unauthorized code to execute whena specially crafted image file is processed.
 
Slackware: sox Buffer overflow vulnerabilities  11 August 2004 
Fixes buffer overflow security issues that could allow a malicious WAV fileto execute arbitrary code.
 
Slackware: imagemagick Buffer overflow vulnerabilities  11 August 2004 
This imagemagick patch fixes issues with PNG images.
