An updated kernel for 9.0 is available with a number of bug fixes.
Mandrake: slocate buffer overflow vulnerability  06 February 2003 
A buffer overflow vulnerability was discovered in slocate by team USG.
Mandrake: mysql double free vulnerability  04 February 2003 
Aleksander Adamowski informed MandrakeSoft that the MySQL developers fixed a DoS vulnerability in the recently released 3.23.55 version of MySQL.
Mandrake: vim abritrary command execution vulnerability  04 February 2003 
A vulnerability was discovered in vim by Georgi Guninski that allows arbitrary command execution using the libcall feature found in modelines.
Mandrake: fetchmail denial of service vulnerability  28 January 2003 
A vulnerability was discovered in all versions of fetchmail <6.2.0 that allows a remote attacker to crash fetchmail and potentially execute arbitrary code by sending carefully crafted email wihch is then parsed by fetchmail.
Mandrake: printer-drivers Multiple vulnerabilities  21 January 2003 
Multiple vulnerabilities including buffer overflows and a race condition allow a local attacker to empty or create any file on the filesystem.
Mandrake: dhcp Multiple vulnerabilities  21 January 2003 
According to CERT advisory CA-2003-01 a buffer overflow exists in the minires library embedded in ISC DHCPD versions 3.0 through 3.0.1RC10.
